Details About Your Stay

2 night stay minimum. We offer 10% discount for 3 nights and 15% discount for 4 nights or more.

A beautifully curated welcome basket will be ready and waiting for you on arrival. It will include homemade ciabatta, homemade jam, farm eggs, fresh milk, fresh farm butter. You will also find tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. 

The Midlands Meander has an array of activities to choose from, however if you'd like to stick around on Fable Grounds visit www.midlandsfable.co.za  for our Happenings. You are most welcome to walk on the farm but please make sure to close farm gates behind you. Fishing in the dam can be arranged upon request. Please note you need the farms permission before fishing and is strictly catch and release. Please refrain from picking flowers or fruit from the garden. 

Dinner most certainly can be arranged from Mondays-Wednesday's. Please let us know and we will send you an updated menu and pricing. The Fable Taproom is open from Thursday - Sunday. Delivery available.

Please note housekeeping is between 8-11am. If you wish to adjust these times please contact Beth.

12pm - 3:30pm. Please let us know what time you will be arriving. Checkin after 4pm can be arranged at a price of R150. Early check in's can be arranged. 

Please check out by 10am. For late check outs up to 2pm there will be an additional charge of R100 per hour. 

We have security patrols at night time. Please keep the gate closed at all times and lock the doors at night. There is an alarm system as well as beams if you wish to turn them on. Instructions on how to arm the property will be discussed on arrival.
